2009 Year End questionaire

1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?
 Went for a possible bariatric surgery consult. Heading in that direction.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Can't even say that I remember what my new years resolution was


3. Did anyone close to you give birth? No new babies, but a couple on the way. Most excited for Kylee's new little one! (right now her name is Mara) she's due in March


4. Did anyone close to you die?
NO. This is a tough question, because next year I will likely answer this question very differently. My Mimi is very sick and in Hospice home. It's likely it wont be long. :-( I already miss her so much.


5. What states/countries did you visit? Florida for Spring Break and in July. Harrison and Henry went with us in July and we got to spend the week "getting to know them". It was such a great time.

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? Blogging. I went back and read my 2007 blog and I wish I would have never stopped blogging.


7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
 John & Ginger's wedding, Mimi's diagnosis of Glioblastoma Multiforme


8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? My photography business has continued to grow


9. What was your biggest failure?
Probably money. Defintely a weakness for me. I did really good on not spending, but saving and keeping the budget together between the two of us has really been a challenge. EXACT same answer as last year (3 yrs in a row). However this year 2009 we have done MUCH better financially. I actually FEEL like im making some money!


10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No.


11. What was the best thing you bought?
 Well didn't technically buy it. But my mom gave me the Explorer.


12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
 My mom! We are so close now and have grown together so much in our relationship. I love you mom.


13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
 no comment. Definitely someone who I hope has moved on now.


14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills and the kids!


15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? A great wedding season and making it a really fun one!

16. What song will always remind you of 2009?
 I got a feelin' by the black eyed peas

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: a) happier or sadder? 
happier! b) thinner or fatter? same.. unfortunately but I think that's gonna change in 2010 c) richer or poorer? richer!

18. What do you wish you’d done more of? Blogging and documenting the everydays of the kids.

19. What do you wish you’d done less of?
 eating :-) Im too dang fat!

20. How did you spend Christmas?
 Our usual at home watching the kids play and relaxing!

21. Did you fall in love in 2009?
Just more with the kids!

22. What was your favorite TV program?
 Private Practice (2 years running)

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
 No one.

24. What was the best book you read?
 New Moon and Eclipse (Twilight series)

25. What was your greatest musical discovery? The bride song from Kera's wedding CD. Perfect for brides.

26. What did you want and get?
 More Money and my 50mm 1.4 it really changed my photography

27. What did you you want and not get?
 more lenses and lighting

28. What was your favorite film of this year?
 New Moon and The Blind Side

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
 I turned 30. Went to dinner at Carrabba's and went to see New Moon with Jason & Kenedey!!! Turning 30 was much easier than turning 29. The twenties were rough. I don't mind being 30 at all!

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?


31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009? 
WAY too momish!

Family & friends

 Still Nick Lachey and Jacob Black ( New moon Taylor Laughtner)

34. What political issue stirred you the most? I don't get to rilled up at politics

35. Who did you miss?
My mom

36. Who was the best new person you met? Kylee Met her the year before, but really became friends with her this year. Fav clients, the Lounds, Hunts, Terakedis, John and Ginger, and all the people involved with the Chamber (Cindy, Ashley, Janet)

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009: Find what you love and do it well. My business has fulfilled me in a way nothing else has ever. Get involved with your community.
